This song was written for the theatrical adaption of John Marsden's 'So Much To Tell You'. It is a demo track only, recorded for the staging of the play in my home town.

Took a little while for me to see
That beauty, for me, is not skin deep.
The hell on Earth you put me through
Is nothing compared to the ugliness of you.

My boat capsized, I couldn't find a way,
couldn't find a way to get back to shore

Take me Down.
You can make me bleed.

All these faces all this noise
I'm throwing it out, I'm breaking all my toys
Starring down the barrel of a loaded gun
Is this is? Are we having fun?

It's you who wanted it this way!
So much to tell you - Nothing to say!

Take me Down.
You can Make me Bleed.

I see them hiding when I'm coming near,
They're trying to mask, but I hear, but I hear
I'm reaching for you through the dark
But there's nothing to hold

If this doesn't please you then nothing else will
Like Sisyphus pushing my rock up at hill
I'm reaching for you through the dark
But there's nothing to hold

I've been crying so hard, and falling so fast
Can I find it inside me to forgive you?

Now a little older, poorer (and possibly wiser), Annaliese Szota blends a love of indie alt pop, theatricality, harmony and stories.
